Left or Right ?
Like every thing else verbal commands could be different from one village to another but in general there was some sort commonality to each region.
Any one with Terry Keegan's book, The Heavy Horse its Harness and Harness Decoration will recognise the maps and information (because that's where's its from !) And apologies to our off shore islands for being ignored but you will have to see Terry about that one ;-)
