
July saw us at Weston Park on the A5 for the ACWS Battle of Malvern Hill and Victorian Weekend
Around 800 Union and Confederate troops took part in the fighting which included Canons.

The Suffolk powered fire engine which took no less than 22 adults to pump for the staggering payment of 1/- (5np) per hour
+ free beer ---we didn't get either ;-(

All in all it was hard work ,but a great time was had by all - even the troops in "traditional" canvas tents in the heavy rain Saturday night --mind you there was always the bar.
