

Its not really a heavyhorse event even though we had 3 take part this year - but having said that it is a good family day out with lots to see and do.

Ok so its a Victorian dray with American harness and the date is 1459 (and we wont even talk about the Ford Transit !)


A bit of cannon fire didn't bother the horses.


This guy must be mad , when he pulled the trigger it was all he could do to stay on his feet !!!




On site blacksmith with a wooden forge making horse shoes, arrow heads and any thing else he was asked .
The forge is a copy of the type that was used at this time and could be easily taken apart and transported so that they could follow the battles.



Body removal at the end of the battle - most wanted to be taken to the bar for some reason.
