Chester's new house.

Like every thing else connected to a large draft horse, building a suitably sized field shelter is no small task.

 Tuesday

First take your horsebox or trailer to TFM and load it with 4 jump poles (uprights)

15, 4"x 2" x 4 mts and 10 12' corrugated steel sheets

Putting the back up using the fence posts as support wile the post mix went off to give it more support.

(The small glass panel is a 12v 3w solar charger for the fence sparker battery)

The supervisor with a muddy knee after falling over (several times)

Sunday

With Lyn left back at home to bring bacon butties at about  1pm me and David lead the attack on the main build on a sunny but very windy day.

Chester had ignored our presence until the sandwiches had arrived !

the fact that the field slopped off by about 18" made it a little more interesting as neither ladder was long enough!

nailing the roof on with the wind trying to rip it back off just added to the fun

Looking for food ! Chester was quite happy to stand underneath while we nailed the roof on though he did draw the line when I started the electric saw.
