BASC Game Fair Catton Park 2007 |
Once again we were invited by the BASC Gamekeepers fair at Catton Park to provide a heavy horse display and in contrast to the previous few years this years show was in bright sunshine.

Kevin Morris driving his pickaxe of Royal, Barron and Tom.

Phil Wilson with Ann and Dave Taylor ready for the off with Bob and Jeff.

Rosie and Lorraine in Sunday best , they were later interviewed by a TV Crewe from Horse and Country TV
.

Phil having a quick plod and meeting some of the punters.

Graham with Leanne giving Billy-Jim and Mickey a high speed bath !

The Pipes and Drums Gurkers on parade

Some very loud bangs came from the firearms display ranging from early muzzle loaders and pistols and finishing with the famous Lee- Enfield 303
Alan's Land rover developed a clutch problem so they rapidly removed the gear box to fix it.....though we don't believe Gary's claim that he really used the shackle to remove the gearbox !!!!!
Remember we are back at Catton Park in June 2007.
its located just off the A38 in South Derbyshire.
