Lower Penn Easter Parade 2008 |
Lower Penn Parish Council Information

The threat of Wintery weather and
low temperatures seamed to thin down the number of horses at this years parade,
however there was still a good turn out of residents at The Victory Hall.

Robert Reade (Driving) leading the Parade with some of the local councillors.

Eric Such with his 1937 LMS delivery dray nicely converted for passenger use.

First public flight for Chester in shafts and apart for a few attempts at overtaking Eric he was a very good lad.

Now I should know who this is but cant think of there name (its my age) but they looked a very smart (and fit) turn out.

Eric outside Victory Hall with a few of the spectators.

Keeping my eye on our little lad meant that I missed getting pictures of a lot of the light horses, which was a shame as a lot of them had spent a lot time and effort on there costumes.

See you Easter Monday 13 April 2009, hopefully it will be a bit warmer !
